"ao" meaning blue which is probably where the blue-skinned part of the description comes from.

But Bozu is a title of some sort describing a monster/demon.

Umi-Bozu
Ao-Bozu
etc.

As for the rest of it, it's probably close enough. I am kind happy to see the lefties getting some love.

Now this oni-monk is just full of win. The best part is the free attachment protection...printed battle action not too shabby either.

I was thinking about this a bit, and the text says to create an "Item" and not a token or anything of that sort.

So does that mean that when the personality is destroyed, the weapon will go to the discard pile of your fate deck, and thereby giving us a nice free equip via Disarm/Obfuscation/other if we're out of gold but need a boom stick?

Created cards, such as one like that, are always removed from the game once the attached personality if destroyed.

I know why the weapon exists on him now... So we cannot use One With The Flame. Dragon would bitch so hard if Aobozu could do it better then them lol.

He has a weapon because one of the weaknesses of a kensai deck is not having enough items or having to enter your first battle without an attachment. Thus, making half your hand useless or having to give up tempo by using an action to attach a wep during battle.

I don't think I've ever made a Monk deck that didn't have 3 x Open Shore Market in it precisely for that reason. Pretty much only use it for its Open.

To the guys above me ^, I think I've got a really solid deck, because I can win without attaching any items at all. I do it on a regular basis. I maybe get 2- 3 items out? Maybe more if Inheriting hits the board early. But I've got a lot of death in the deck, and I love handing it out, and weapons generally aren't necessary to cause it (but do help). What I've always thought would give me another busted kill was the kiho "One with the Flame". The only reason I couldn't was half our monks are 2 chi. This guy is 4. I might be able to squeeze in one or two now, if I reorganize the dynasty, which will have to happen anyway, because my 3 chi monks can still murder fools with it, and Aubozu could theoretically have his weapon transferred off him. But, this is all speculation. Moral of the story, I assure you, AEG did not create this guy with just us in mind, to assume so is asinine.
